Company Policies

• GCSE tutoring: £15/hour
• A-Level tutoring: £25/hour
• Oxbridge Admissions tutoring: £40 to £60/hour depending on the service

Tutor payments are made immediately after every session is complete. There are no monthly cycles or delayed payroll. You complete a session, you get paid.

A minimum of two trial tutoring sessions must be completed before the first paid session. Trial sessions are unpaid and are part of the onboarding process to ensure quality and fit for both the tutor and the organisation.

All tutoring sessions are conducted via Google Meet and scheduled through Google Calendar. Tutors are expected to join on time and maintain a professional setup.

Tutors in roles where homework setting is expected are provided with a Google Business Pro account, which includes access to Gemini Pro for resource preparation and lesson planning.

All sessions must be paid for a minimum of one day before the session takes place. Sessions cannot proceed without confirmed payment.

Cancellations must be made at least 6 hours before the scheduled session. Cancellations made within this window are eligible for either:

• A refund of 97.1% of the session fee (the Stripe processing fee is non-refundable), or
• The payment can be applied to reschedule another session at no additional cost

Cancellations made with less than 6 hours notice are not eligible for a refund.

A maximum of 2 unpaid tutoring sessions may be conducted in a row before sessions are paused until outstanding payments are settled. This is at the discretion of Karol Wyroba, Founder and Director of London STEM Society.

All sessions are conducted online via Google Meet. Session links are shared through Google Calendar invitations ahead of the scheduled time.
